March 16, 2020 Update: Please note that the March 16 and 23 sessions have been canceled.
University of Kentucky College of Dentistry dental students will provide no-cost limited dental screenings on select dates in February and March. No appointment is necessary, but participants must be 18 years or older.
Participants can register in-person on the second floor of the Dental Science Building located at 800 Rose Street between 5:30-7 pm on the following Mondays:
Although not intended as a comprehensive exam, limited dental screenings can help determine if an individual has current oral health issues requiring treatment. Participants will receive select X-rays, if needed, and a limited review for tooth decay.
Patients who meet student licensing exam requirements, and are available to attend a licensing exam on either April 17 or April 18, may be selected to participate in the exam and all services performed during the licensing exam will be at no cost.
Patients requiring care in excess of licensing exam requirements, or not selected as a licensing exam patient, will be referred for a full dental screening and treatment, scheduled at a later date. Standard clinic fees will apply for full dental screenings and resulting treatment, should patients request these services.
Directions and parking information are available here. For more information, please call (859)323-8873, option 1 and reference free DMD dental screenings.
