Support UKCD Be a part of educating the next generation

The UK College of Dentistry has been educating oral health providers since 1962. The generous support of passionate alumni and friends of the college, through outright and planned gifts, has enabled UKCD to continue following Dr. Alvin Morris' vision. 

Today students are still offered a quality dental education in a supportive environment, preparing them to be biologically oriented, technically capable, and socially sensitive.

Gifts may support the UK College of Dentistry's general fund or be designated to support a specific fund. Details on options are available below if you are interested in learning how your gift could support a particular area. 

2025 Giving Priorities

  • $4 million for Renovation of the Orthodontic Graduate Clinic
    Renovation of the oldest clinic in the College of Dentistry building will enhance recruitment, update resident instruction, and provide up-to-date patient treatment using 21st-century technology and equipment.
  • $1 Million for Scholarships
    The cost of a dental education on top of the expense of an undergraduate degree can be intimidating to a student considering dentistry as a career. A scholarship can open the door and help a student to remain in school to achieve their goal of becoming a dentist.
  • $1 million for Pathways to Dentistry project
    Kentucky is losing its dentists in rural areas as many retire or move. This project promotes dentistry as a career, and a rural lifestyle, to grow dentists from students raised in rural locations. It supports students from high school through the College of Dentistry.
