Biography:
I am a dentist and clinical researcher with a PhD in Periodontology from the University of São Paulo (FOUSP), where my work focused on randomized clinical trials in periodontal therapy and long-term clinical outcomes.

I earned my DDS from the Federal University of Sergipe and completed advanced training in Periodontology, Implant Dentistry, and Public Health, building a strong foundation that integrates clinical practice, research, and patient-centered care.

As a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, I expanded my experience in translational research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Kentucky, investigating periodontal disease mechanisms and factors influencing long-term treatment outcomes.

Beyond academia, I have experience in the dental industry, including work within the scientific department of a leading implant company in São Paulo. This background strengthened my ability to connect clinical challenges with scientific and technological innovation.

My professional goal is to bridge clinical practice and research to advance evidence-based dentistry and improve patient outcomes.
