Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include the dental management of sleep-related breathing disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea and snoring, through the use of custom oral appliance therapy. I have a strong focus on the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal diseases, including traumatic, infectious, allergic, inflammatory, autoimmune, and systemic conditions—ranging from aphthous ulcers and lichen planus to pemphigus, pemphigoid, and oral cancer, often incorporating diagnostic biopsy as part of care. I also specialize in orofacial pain disorders that are not related to teeth, such as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, masticatory muscle pain, trigeminal neuralgia, burning mouth syndrome, and neuropathic pain conditions. In addition, I have a dedicated interest in managing salivary gland dysfunction and dry mouth, including care for patients with Sjögren’s syndrome.
