Giving Priorities 2025 Priority Areas

The college is focused on the following areas for the year:

$4 million for Renovation of the Orthodontic Graduate Clinic
Renovation of the oldest clinic in the College of Dentistry building will enhance recruitment, update resident instruction, and provide up-to-date patient treatment using 21st-century technology and equipment.
$1 Million for Scholarships
The cost of a dental education on top of the expense of an undergraduate degree can be intimidating to a student considering dentistry as a career. A scholarship can open the door and help a student to remain in school to achieve their goal of becoming a dentist.
$1 million for Pathways to Dentistry project
Kentucky is losing its dentists in rural areas as many retire or move. This project promotes dentistry as a career, and a rural lifestyle, to grow dentists from students raised in rural locations. It supports students from high school through the College of Dentistry.
