Preparation Program

The University of Kentucky Professional Education Preparation Program (PEPP)-Scholars is an academic enrichment program for high school graduates who are interested in becoming physicians and dentists to serve the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This summer program provides an opportunity to gain exposure to the professions in hope of solidifying a commitment to a career in medicine or dentistry. The PEPP-Scholars offering affords young scholars the chance to observe, network, and volunteer within the healthcare setting. These experiences will provide enhanced exposure to the aforementioned professions broadening the knowledge base of the involved students.

PEPP-DMD / PEPP-MD

Individuals who have completed at least two years of college may be eligible to apply for the PEPP-DMD or PEPP-MD program.
