Services available in the Dental Science Building include:

  • Our general dentistry clinics offer a wide variety of services, including general dentistry for all ages, preventative dental services, crowns, dentures, bridges, implants, root canals (endodontic treatment), esthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Our faculty place special emphasis on dental care for the medically, mentally, and physically complex patient, as well as for dental-fear patients. Care provided by DMD dental students allow for quality care while offering patients lower costs than typically found in a private dental office. DMD dental students are supervised by expert UK College of Dentistry faculty. 

  • Orthodontics Resident Clinic: 859-323-5655
    UK Dentistry provides cutting-edge, comprehensive orthodontic therapy. Treatment includes age-appropriate interceptive therapy and corrective therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, including interdisciplinary treatments in collaboration with all other dental specialties. Residents (dentists completing advanced education and training) are supervised by expert UK College of Dentistry faculty. Payment plans available. 

  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Resident Clinic:  859-323-6080
    The UK Dentistry Oral and Maxillofacial Clinic offers dentoalveolar surgery (implants, extractions, and alveoplasty), trauma surgery, repair of craniofacial anomalies, surgical management of facial pain, treatment of temporomandibular disorders, and cosmetic treatments. Residents (dentists completing advanced education and training) are supervised by expert UK College of Dentistry faculty. 

  • Periodontics Clinic: 859-323-6193
    UK Dentistry has providers who specialize in the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, periodontal graft surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, laser treatment, and replacing missing teeth with dental implants. UK Dentistry faculty members have extensive experience treating medically compromised patients. Residents are supervised by expert UK College of Dentistry faculty. 

  • Urgent Care Clinic (UCC): 859-323-6525
    The Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) is a walk-in clinic for patients needing immediate care due to dental pain or swelling. See more details here.

  • Diagnosis, Wellness and Prevention Clinic: 859-323-6345
    The Diagnosis, Wellness and Prevention Clinic allows patients to seek care for both their oral and overall health needs in a single location.
