"In a division where my colleagues have been supportive and felt like family since day one, I am most excited to be stepping into this new role during a promising time of transition for the entire division. We have several new faculty members in comprehensive care, and I consider our division very lucky to have the opportunity to collaborate with our members rich in valuable experience as well as those with new, and innovative perspectives. I am excited to watch our new team leaders grow in their roles, and I hope to reciprocate the support and mentorship I've received since I started in comprehensive care,” shared Wade.  

Wade received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry (UKCD) in 2018 and completed her General Practice Residency at UK as well. She received the Mortenson Dental Partners Scholarship and was also  a Milton Gellin Scholarship Finalist while at UKCD.  

Speaking on her hopes and goals for the division, Wade shares, “I look forward to building upon the strong work and leadership provided by Dr. Winfrey, and I hope to continue contributing to UKCD in a positive way. I aim to foster a collegial environment for faculty and students alike by encouraging the members in our division to be transparent, accessible, and supportive. I would like to work with the other divisions to improve our students' experience in the clinic and streamline our patient care model. I am confident that, in collaboration with the other divisions, we can continue to graduate competent clinicians who put patient care at the forefront and feel secure in their clinical skills across a wide range of procedures.”
