The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry (UKCD) congratulates Dr. Craig Miller on being awarded the Fulbright Specialist Program award. The Fulbright program is a flagship international education exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government to help build lasting relationships between citizens of other countries and the United States. Miller will be working in Israel to help establish a relationship between the U.S. and Reichman University.
During this Fulbright activity, Miller will collaborate with Dr. Guy Hochman of Reichman University, and together they will lead a workshop of Master of Arts students in a program of behavioral economics and social psychology focusing on real-world situations and applications. The workshop will explore the influence of awareness, choice, and judgment on health and wellness, the quality of healthcare, as well as behavioral interventions that can lead to improved health and healthcare.
Miller noted he is excited to share his knowledge and expertise with students at Reichman University.
A UKCD faculty member since 1989, Miller serves as Division of Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology Chief. He was appointed to the endowed position of Alvin L. Morris Professor of Oral Health Research in 2020, honoring his leadership in research.
