  • Biographical Sketch Dr. Ahmad Kutkut is a Professor and Chief of the Prosthodontics Division at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. In 2021, Dr. Kutkut completed a PhD in Clinical and Translational Sciences from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. In 2010, Dr. Kutkut completed a Master's Degree and a Certificate in Prosthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. In 2007, Dr. Kutkut completed a two-year certificate program in Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. In 2005, Dr. Kutkut completed a certificate of Advanced Education in the General Dentistry Program at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Kutkut is an active member of ADEA, ITI, ACP, and ICOI. Presently Dr. Kutkut is a reviewer for; "Journal of Prosthodontics," the official publication of the ACP, the "Journal of Oral Implantology," the official publication of the AAID, General Dentistry Journal, Pakistan Oral and Dental Journal, Journal of Indian Society of Periodontology, and Jordan Dental Association "Smile Dental Journal." Dr. Kutkut is one of few clinicians worldwide trained in implant dentistry's surgical and prosthodontics discipline. In 2020, Dr. Kutkut received a University Endowed Professorship in Dentistry. Besides lecturing nationally and internationally, he has published numerous articles and abstracts. In addition to his teaching, research, writing, and lecturing, he presented several lectures, posters, and table clinics at major meetings such as the Academy of Osseointegration, Greater New York Dental Meeting, American College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Northeast Implant Symposium, American University of Tirana, Albania, Taibah University, Saudi Arabia, and Jordanian Dental Implant Group, Jordan. Dr. Kutkut is currently the Director of the Predoctoral Implant Program at UKCD and maintains a practice limited to Implants, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.
